Husky Alumni & Friends for Academic Excellence is dedicated to free and open academic inquiry and a fearless quest for the truth. We encourage a campus culture where civil discourse flourishes, and where students and faculty pursue knowledge with integrity and courage.

Who We Are:

The University of Washington should educate, not indoctrinate. It should challenge students to develop their critical thinking skills, broaden their horizons, and boost their emotional resilience. It should promote understanding and scholarship rather than fostering identity group enmities and spurious dogmas.

By encouraging the University to focus on scholarship rather than politics, we seek to restore public confidence in and respect for this vital public institution.
